Coach Josephine
Ascent Volleyball Club
Josephine discovered her love for volleyball at the age of 11. She went on to coach youth volleyball for several years, while also serving as a youth counsellor—walking alongside the same group of girls from Grade 5 through to graduation. This experience deeply shaped her passion for investing in the next generation.
Today, Josephine brings that passion together with her love for the game, using volleyball as a platform to develop not only athletic and technical skills, but also mental resilience and strong character.
With a Master’s degree in Counselling, Josephine is especially attuned to the mental well-being of the athletes she works with. She believes sport can be a powerful environment for building meaningful relationships, mentorship, and support systems that extend far beyond volleyball.
Outside of the gym, you’ll find Josephine at the beach, playing volleyball, or enjoying walks and e-bike rides with her family.
